The Briscoe boys and girls tennis teams completed their undefeated season by winning the district championships. On Monday, the girls won their second consecutive overall championship by 8 points over runner-up Reading JH. Individual medalists for Briscoe were 1st place singles, Natalia Barron, 4th place singles Dina Miller, and 6th place singles Meggie Wang. Finishing in girls doubles were, 3rd place Ashley Beck/Erin Farrow, 4th place Michelle Ezeh/Liana Hamdan, 5th place Sophie Gibson/Kiki Gibson, and 6th place Sierra Hoffart/Kali Prior. On Tuesday night, the boys won district in a convincing fashion with a 20 point victory over runner-up Reading. In singles, the Eagles swept the top 3 places, 1st going to Victor Nguyen, 2nd place Anthony Nguyen, and 3rd place Michael Nguyen. The doubles team of Lorenzo Argao/Carter Wilson won 1st place, Luke Nelson/Tyler Kutach won 3rd place, and Dylan Davis/Bryce Howard finished 5th.
