The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7th grade A basketball team beat George Junior High 23-10 to move to 2-1 in district play and 6-3 overall. The leading scorer was Sharlyne Dimalanta with 8 points. Also scoring for the Lady Eagles were Jada Morrow with 5 points, Alexis Morin and Maya Garcia with 4 points each, and Janella Alfred with 2 points. Defensive players of the game were Lia Castillo and Keely Castillo.

The Lady Eagles 7th B team defeated the George Gators 7-3. Leading the Lady Eagles to victory were Karrington Searles, Arionah Gordon, and Elise Cheramie with 2 points each, and Jaliya McCall with 1 point. Defensive players for the Lady Eagles were Erin Coco, Karrington Searles, Faith Uzo, Alexa White, and Hannah Tawil. The Briscoe Lady Eagles now stand 3-0 in district play.

The Lady Eagles 8th grade b basketball team took a 23-16 win at home against George Jr. High. Scoring for the Lady Eagles were Ava Conde with 10, Samiyah Guerrero with 4, Jasmine Houston with 2, Grace Udebezi with 2, Katie Parker with 2, Kali White with 2, and Kalli Reavis with 1. Defensive players were Tola Ajayi, Vantia Williams, Erica Bertsch, and Kenzie Stratman.

The Briscoe 8th grade A girls basketball team won last night in a nail biter against George Junior High 26-25 with Leea Dempsey leading the team with 10 points. Elissa Babba was right behind her with 6 points, Haley Etzler with 5 points, Allison Juenger with 3 points and Sydney Billings with 2 points. The leading defensive players were Sydney Billings and CiCi Matta.
