Briscoe Football Finishes the Season Strong Against El Campo

The Briscoe 7B Eagles lost to El Campo 0-27. Defensive players of the game were Case Parker, and Jalen Ross. Offensive players of the game were Ned Vickers and Carter Wilson. The 7B Eagles end the season 1-3 in district and 1-3-1 overall.

The 7A Briscoe Eagles football team defeated El Campo 26-6. Scoring all 4 of the Eagles’ TD were Mario Simmons. Simmons scored on runs of 30 yards, 80 yards and 45 yards, while also adding in a 10 yard TD reception from Ryan Stubblefield. Sebastian Garcia added an extra point kick. Other offensive players of the game were Collin Wix, Cedric Dickerson, Marcello, Spano, Jacob Perry, Jared Williams, and Jeffrey Morka. Defensive players of the game were Chidozie Nwankwo, Ricky Rich (interception), Eric Self, Marcus Mehaffey, Terrell Moore, and Daulton Bury. The 7A Eagles end the season 6-1 overall, with a 4-1 district record.

The Briscoe Eagles 8th grade B football team defeated El Campo Tuesday night 31-0. Leading the Eagles on offense were Michael Marino who scored on a 40 yard TD run, Le'Jai Jones who scored on a 60 yard TD run, Shadeed Ahmed who scored on a 70 yard punt return, Keaton Huebner who scored on a 60 yard TD run and also threw a 55 yard TD pass to Israel Floyd. Leading the Eagles on defense were Chase Tomasino who had a strip and fumble recovery, Kyle Luster, and Jacob Tyrell. The Eagles finished the season 6-1 overall and 4-1 in district play.

The Briscoe Eagles 8th grade A football team beat El Campo by a score of 20-16. Leading the Eagles on offense was Chip Barillas who score on a 45 yard TD run, an 85 yard punt return for a TD, and a 40 yard TD run. Other offensive leaders for the Eagles were Amryn Williams and Koleman Hardin. Defensive leaders for the Eagle were Jason McDonald, Jacob McCune, Robert Harbor, Hunter Schultz, and Cort Adams. The Eagles finish the season 5-2 overall and 3-2 in district play.
