The 7th grade A volleyball team beat Reading JH in 3 games last night. They won the first game 25-16 with Kirsten Guerrero and Briana Creery leading the team in serves. They lost the second game in a close match 23-25. Briana Creery led the team in serves that game as well. The 3rd match they came out on top 25-22 with Lia Castillo and Keely Castillo leading the team in serves. Offensive player of the games was Briana Creery.

The 7th grade B team dueled it out with Reading Junior High in their first game of the season. The Lady Eagles fell short of a victory but did an outstanding job. Game one score 16 -25 and game 2 was 23-25. The top scorers were Jenna Alonza and Elise Macha

The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8A volleyball team lost to Reading in three sets 27-25, 12-25, 19-25. Leading the team on offense were Catherine Krieger, Lauren Sulak, and Emma Pustejovsky. Defensive players for the Lady Eagles were Lauren Sulak, Sydney Miller, Neema Davies, Ava Conde, and Catherine Krieger.

Briscoe 8B volleyball team defeated Reading JH in three games 25-22, 20-25, and 25-10. The Lady Eagles overcame a 10-point deficit in game 1 with strong serves by Alyssa Muceus and Samantha Chavez. The girls lost a hard fought game two despite good defensive play from Jasmine Badillo and CeCe Mata. Game 3 was a great overall effort by all of the girls, with long service runs by Sydney Davies and Alyssa Muceus and strong net play by Maddie Maves.
