Foster Falcons travel to Austin in search of State softball crown

The Foster Falcon's are the softball champions of  Region 4 and one of the final four 5A teams in the State of still playing softball.

The State Tournament will be at the University of Texas' McCombs Field.Foster will play in the first semi-final game on  Friday, June 1, at 9  a.m. against Fort Worth Arlington Heights. Foster will be the visiting team, sitting on the 1st-base line. 

Gates will open at 8 a.m. and tickets will be $12 for adults and $7 for students.

There is a “Clear Bag Policy” in effect at McCombs Field. Only clear bags that don't exceed  12 x 6 x 12 inches will be allowed into the facility. Handheld signs and homemade noisemakers are allowed as long as they reflect good sportsmanship and do not block the view of other spectators. 

Fans who are unable to make to the game can watch the tournament online with a subscription at   www.nfhsnetwork.com/associations/uil  Subscribers can watch on the go by downloading the NFHS Network app for iPhone and Android devices.  A one month pass to the NFHS Network is $9.95
