I think the students really enjoyed the Fall Carnival this past weekend. Thanks go out to all those individuals that helped make this event not only a great experience but a successful fundraiser. All of our PTO volunteers and staff members who came out to make this a successful event are truly appreciated. Also thanks to all of our parents who took the time to attend the Carnival with their children. The weather was certainly a bonus in making this event a positive experience.
Next week parents will be coming to school for their first nine week’s report card conference. All parents should be scheduling this conference to receive their child’s report card and to get information from the teacher about how their child is doing academically and behavior-wise. Next Thursday and Friday will be elementary early release days so that teacher can meet with parents for these conferences. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 so you will again need to make arrangements for after-school pick-up.
Finally, because of parent conferences next week, our first nine week’s success assemblies will be scheduled on Friday, November 11th. Grade level times will be sent out in the next Astronotes.
