We will be having our 25 year celebration on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the gym/cafeteria. At the celebration we will be displaying the items that are located in the time capsule that was buried in the front of the school by the original Astronaut classes in the 1990-1991 school year. It will be interesting to see what items were placed in the capsule 25 years ago. If you know of any former Astronauts that were in this original class please invite them to come. All former Astronauts are invited to attend this event. We also hope some our former teachers and administrators will be able to be present. Mrs. Vernon and Mrs. Parks, former principals, both still live or work in our area. We hope they can make as well as the many Assistant Principals and teacher who have been a part of the great tradition of Austin Elementary School.
