Astronotes for December 10, 2015

Dec 10, 2015 | Bud Whileyman

We have several activities going on this week that are being funded by some of our LEAF grants. Mrs. Brown, our choir teacher, was successful in funding both of these events. This past Monday the Houston Grand Opera came to do 2 performances of The Velveteen Rabbit. One performance was for K-2 and the second one for grades 3-5. This Friday our 4th and 5th grade students will be attending the Nutcracker Ballet Forte at the Stafford Center. All costs associated with these events will be funded by LEAF grants. Thank you LEAF!!!

We have a PTO Meeting this Thursday beginning at 6:30. PTO is another organization that allows us to do many things our campus could not do without their financial support. Your support of all of the fundraisers lets us improve technology on the campus as well as having each grade level go on a field trip. Additional classroom supplies and equipment are also extra items that PTO is able to fund. This weekend several of our PTO members came up to help move and organize the science lab in LGI2. Thank you to all of our PTO members and to you our parents who are always so supportive of our school!!!
