We are fast approaching the end of the 1st nine weeks. October 23rd is the last day of the nine weeks and it is also an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 so please make arrangements to have your child picked up if they do not ride the bus or walk. At the end of the first nine weeks, report card conferences will be scheduled for parents to visit with the teacher about their student’s progress. The report card will be given to the parents at this conference. Your teacher should be contacting you to schedule this important visit.
Money from our first major fundraiser need to be turned in by this Thursday. Hopefully, we will have a successful event and raise enough money to give our students many of the extras that make school more enjoyable.
Our biggest fundraiser is the Fall Carnival which will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. You may have noticed that the PTO has already begun decorations for the event. We will be having a door decorating contest to get everyone in the swing of the season. Come out to our annual carnival and enjoy the festivities. It is all for a good cause!
