Every school in Texas is required to make their school report card available to parents. It is on our Home Page for parents to view.  If you would like to request a paper copy, please contact the front office and we will make one available for you to pick up. This school report card shows passing percentages on the STAAR test for your school, district, and the state.  It allows you to see if growth occurred from 2012 to 2013.  The report also shows the demographics of your school, class size averages, and several other significant pieces of information.  A reminder will be sent home in the Wednesday take home folder.

All 5th grade parents should try to attend the Wessendorff Course Selection Parent Night which has been scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 6:00 PM in the Wessendorff Cafeteria.  This meeting has been rescheduled from the original meeting date of January 28th.  The presentation is about 6th grade course selections and a brief overview of Wessendorff expectations for next year. The meeting should last no longer than one hour.

Junior Achievement Training is also on February 20th at 1:00 pm in LGI2.  Three teachers are still needing a volunteer for their classroom, these are:  Ferguson, Knox and Hastedt.  Please consider volunteering for this fun and exciting program.  The training will be in-depth and all of the lesson plans are well laid out.  Please let Ms. Brown know if you can help (email: [email protected]).

Student Council will be selling carnations during lunch on Thursday and Friday for $1.50 each.  There is a limited supply!  First come, first serve – you will be given the flower when you pay for it.
