Accelerated Reader Program provides students with a fun, literature-based reading program with a computer management system.
Student Council open for fifth grade students to develop leadership skills.
Tutorial program allows students to receive tutorial assistance when needed.
Reading Incentive Programs the ' Book-It ' and "600 Minute" Programs encourage recreational reading by rewarding students for their reading accomplishments.
Math Problem Solving Activities encourages students to apply problem-solving techniques in everyday real-world situations.
Writing Programs — a variety of special writing programs have been implemented to enhance students' writing abilities: student newsletter, weekly writing elaboration activities, and daily journal writing.
Right Choice Bingo — provides an incentive for children to make good decisions each six weeks.
School-Wide Immersions —Field day, Math, Science, and Technology Day, Safety Day, and Pioneer Day are annual events to promote experiences for all students.
Rodeo Art — children have an opportunity to participate in the Fort Bend County Fair and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
UIL — third through fifth grade students participate in academic competition such as oral reading, story telling, and music memory.
Fort Bend County Spelling Bee —a school champion represents Williams Elementary each year in this annual competition.
Geography Contest — school-wide contests are held each week to promote geography awareness. Prizes are awarded to grade level winners.
Fun Days — 100th Day of School, Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Thanksgiving Feast, Pajama Party, Teddy Bear Picnic, Go Texan Day, First Grade Camp Out, Kite Day, Puff Mobile Races, Mancala Tournament, Pi Day, Lunch Box Derby, and Quadice Competition
