Southwest Airlines Teacher of the Year 2005

Pamela Brown was named Greensheet/Southwest Airlines Teacher of the year 2005. Pamela is a fifth grade teacher at Campbell Elementary.

Principal of the Year 2002-2003

Dr. Jennfier Slack was named LCISD Elementary Principal of the year 2002-2003. We are very proud of her!

Destination Imagination 2003

Campbell loves Destination ImagiNation! Four of our five teams went to competition March 1st bringing back 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 8th places! The ICS team consisting of fourth and fifth graders placed 1st and continued on to state for their structure challenge. The Hippie Chicks, a group of fifth grade girls, placed 2nd in THEATER smARTS. The Jaguars, a group consisting of one first grader and the rest third graders, placed 3rd in THEATER smARTS. The Brain Drains, consisting of all fifth grade boys, placed 8th in ViDIo Adventure. The noncompetitive team that formed late in the year visited competition and are ready to compete next year. We hope to double the number of teams in years to come. Campbell is very proud of their success!
