Parent Involvement is key to the success of our students. Lamar CISD is committed to that success, but we cannot do it alone. A partnership of parents, educators and community is needed to encourage our students to take education seriously. In LCISD, strong parent and community involvement is evident in our schools and there are a variety of ways to get involved.

Volunteer Information

In today’s society, children face many challenges. Schools offer many educational and support services to help overcome the challenges, but so much more is necessary to prepare children for the future. Become a Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS) and support our schools by supporting our students. As a volunteer you will be helping children reach their goals and getting to know other parents and the teachers. But most importantly—you will be sending a message to your children that you value education! Click here for more information.
